On Sunday August 23, 2015 we toured Chicago with our Venezuelan friends. This was made possible by a terrific gift of a mega bus tour by Charlie Smart. What a blessing it was to sit back and enjoy the ride leaving the driving to someone else. The tour started at Daley Plaza where we debated the inspiration for the Picasso statue and learned a bit of Chicago history at the First Methodist Church building across the street. At Millennium Park we saw the regular attractions and were also treated to a concert by upcoming new artists. It was a beautiful day for a stroll to Navy Pier. At the end of our day there Rebeca and Daniel gave an impromptu concert of traditional Venezuelan music and drew quite a crowd. Thank God for a blessed and glorious day.
To God be the glory.
